Kansas ribs


Serves 4

  • 1kg rack ribs
  • 150g bourbon
  • 120g spice shot
  • 400g chopped tomatoes
  • 200g chicken stock - 2 stock pots 200ml water
  • 150g maple syrup


Marinate ribs in spice shot over night

Roast ribs and spice shot @ 180c fan for 20 mins until sealed

Add in bourbon & maple syrup and roast for another 20 minutes

Add chopped tomatoes and stock, cover with foil and roast for 2 hours at 150c fan

Remove foil and roast for a further 30 minutes @ 180c fan

Remove from baking tray and serve when the meat is falling off the bone
